Dear James,
Thanks for your letter. Your story was lovely. It made me laugh.
By the way, today it is Saturday and it’s my favourite day! I don’t go to school. I get up at 9.30, and
then I have a shower. My mum makes breakfast and then my dad does the washing up. My brother and I
don’t do homework. We usually hang out at the local park. We see our friends there and ride our bikes.
In the afternoon my family and I go shopping. There is a big shopping centre next to our house. I
often look in the clothes and music shops there.
In the evening I spend time with my family at home. I chat to my mum and dad after dinner. Some-
times we go to the cinema together.
Is your family large? What do you usually do at the weekends? Are there a lot of places to go
to in your city?
Anyway, I must finish as my mum is calling me. Please write soon.
